# Instructions

All papers will be peer reviewed. To have the paper published in the Conference Proceedings and in the IEEE Xplore, at least one of the authors of each paper must have a full professional registration and the paper must be presented by one of the authors. A full professional registration can cover at most two papers.

• Posters should be in English, portrait (vertical) orientation, ISO paper size A0 (841 mm wide x 1189 mm high or 33.11 inches wide × 46.81 inches high). Oversize posters will not fit the poster board.
• A suggested template is available here.
• The IMOC 2019 logo is available here.
• It is suggested to underline the name of the author who will present the poster, and to include an email address for viewers to contact you later.
• You are responsible for bringing your printed poster to the conference and setting it up. No printing facilities are available onsite.
• Posters will be affixed to the poster board using tape, which will be provided by the conference staff. No wood supports are required.
• At least one author should be present at each poster for the entire presentation time.
• You are responsible for removing your poster from the exhibit space in a timely manner. We are not responsible for posters remaining in the exhibit space once the poster session closes.

• Presentations should be in English.
• The total time allotted to each speaker is 15 minutes. You should plan to speak for 12 minutes and leave 3 minutes for discussion. The oral presentation will be accurately timed, so make sure you finish in time.
• It is suggested to underline the name of the author who will present the paper, and to include an email address for attendees to contact you later.
• The IMOC 2019 logo is available here.
• Please bring your presentation in a USB key in PDF format to avoid potential version incompatibilities of text editors, and be present 15 minutes before your session starts to check if the file works as expected on the specific machine at the specific location.

Notice that papers are limited to three (3) pages in the IEEE two-column format.

Add the copyright notice to the bottom (left aligned, Times New Roman 8pts) of the first page of your source document.

The copyright notice to be added depends on the circumstances as follows:

• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is

U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

• For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is

978-1-7281-3099-6/19/$31.00 ©2019 Crown • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is 978-1-7281-3099-6/19/$31.00 ©2019 European Union

• For all other papers the copyright notice is

978-1-7281-3099-6/19/$31.00 ©2019 IEEE If you are preparing your paper in LaTeX and you are using the IEEEtran document class, this may help: • Add the following code before the \maketitle command: \IEEEoverridecommandlockouts \IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{978-1-7281-3099-6/19/\$31.00~\copyright2019 IEEE \hfill} \hspace{\columnsep}\makebox[\columnwidth]{ }}
• Add the following code after the \maketitle command:
• Make sure you use the appropriate IEEE copyright notice string, as explained above.

3. Transfer your document into IEEE compatible PDF

Only IEEE Xplore compatible PDF is accepted for final paper submission.

The PDF of the paper must be created using IEEE’s service PDF eXpress, to ensure its compliance with IEEE requirements for IEEE Xplore compatible PDF files. To convert the source file into PDF using IEEE PDF eXpress, do the following:

• Access IEEE PDF eXpress at the following link: https://www.pdf-express.org
First-time users should do the following:

• Enter the following:
1. 43827X for the Conference ID
• Continue to enter information as prompted.

An online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

4. Complete the copyright process through EDAS

Before uploading your final paper, authors have to complete the copyright process through EDAS. This must be done for your paper to be included in the Conference Proceedings. For that, click on the © link in the My Papers tab, then click in IEEE Copyright Submission button.

Submitting a paper via EDAS is simple and consists of four steps:

1. Logging in or creating an account;
2. Registering the paper;
4. Submitting the manuscript file.
